This is an illustration for a childrens tale called a giant without a heart. It´s a norwegian folktale originally, which explains why I drew it the way I did(although it doesn´t explain why one of the princes is holding a Dalarna horse which is a Swedish souvenir or why the king is wearing a celtic cape...) I´m glad that I got to try out some new stuff with this, the color world is quite different from what I normally use. That´s because I wanted to use colors that I think are medieval and rural. What I´m not so pleased about is that I have to do atleast nine pictures more, and they should be finished friday next week. Yikes, I don´t know how I´m going to pull that off...Prepare to see more of these. Oh and this picture features a king(what! You already knew!) with his seven sons.
Whaaaat I haven't commented this yet! Me stupid! You great! This style is great, I love their expressions and details, the cat moves so smoothly. Horse head statues on the sides and the curtain on the back are lovely, the design of the horses especially. Colours are nice shades, leaning more to bronw and nature tones. I like it.
lämmin hyvä tunnelma, pidän siitä kuinka olet käyttänyt lämpimiä sävyjä! ja musta kissa antaa hyvän säväyksen! sinertävät kohdat turkissa saavat sen näyttämään elävemmältä!...

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
